Win an Aviator Laptop Stand from 2 Smart Chix and Keynamics!

Do you own a laptop? If you do, you'll want to check out the Aviator Laptop Stand. Not only does the Aviator help you keep your laptop positioned in an ergonomically beneficial position, it's small (3 interlocking pieces that store in an area 1/2 inch wide, perfect for your laptop case!), light (only 9 ounces)and raises your laptop to promote airflow and prevent overheating.

All you have to do is post a comment to this blog and tell us why you want an Aviator. We'll be sharing your comments with Greg Bright of Keynamics and on Friday, October 13, we'll announce the winners on Views from the Coop!

An Aviator Laptop Stand would benefit my son, Jonathan immensely. He has a laptop for college, and complains his back is giving him more pain than usual. He was diagnosed with Scoliosis when he was less than 2 years old. Since he is not that athletic, he is more of a computer geek :) If we don't win, where can I purchase one for him? Thanks concerned MOM

I'M THINKING, I'M THINKING......
(It would be a lot easier to come up with a reason for needing a laptop stand if I actually owned a laptop or had a relative who owned one. Wonder if it could be nailed to a couple of 2 x 4 wall studs for hanging an airplane wing? Guess not.)

I have a MacBook Pro that runs REALLY hot. I run Temperature Monitor, when I feel my left palm start to get hot, I check the monitor and it's usually showing 42°C on the battery or higher. From there I look over at MenuMeters, which shows me real time graphs in my menu bar of my processor load. I usually see one or more of the processors being hammered, so from there I pull down to the Activity Monitor, which shows me my processes from highest CPU usage on down. I check out the top processor hog, and invariably it's something like Flash running on a website causing it (which is why I run the Extensioni FlashBlock) so I quit the errant application.

I do all this to keep my computer COOL! so...wouldn't it be easier if I had an Aviator Laptop Stand? (but you don't have to let me win, because I have a USB fan plate, 2 iLaps (1 for work, one for home, to keep my lap cool), and the REAL way I cool it down is one of those silly USB fans that I point right back at the computer to cool itself down!
